The fire etched a memory into her mind,
She watched the flames dance,
The cool crisp winter wind slashed her face as it flew by,
Cold tears stung the wounds on her pretty face.
The black velvet sky provided no comfort,
Her family trapped inside,
Snowflakes fall and quickly melt on her hot face,
She prayed to god that no one died.
Her long blonde hair whipped across her face,
Bright blue eyes filled with fear,
A tear falls forever in her sad broken heart,
She watched her neighbors shed their tears.
Each flame painted a image in her mind,
She cried looking up at the stars,
She wondered if she could take this pain,
By making those
As I gaze across no-mans land I felt a sense of despair,
The looming rain clouds taunt us with the sounds of thunder,
I cringe at the sound of wounded soldiers crying for help,
Mourning their own loss makes me wonder.
Rain drops quietly fall into the filthy trenches,
Grasping my bayonet I closed my eyes,
Waiting patiently for the signal to attack,
I try to expel the mournful cries.
We are given the orders,
Now we race across the valley of death,
Rain starts pouring like hammer and nails,
I am almost out of breath.
I panic as I dash across the sickening valley,
The smell of rotting flesh fills my nostrils,
I watched our men fal
Since I've started University, I have obviously NOT been working on my photography.. as you can tell haha.
Hopefully I'll be having some photoshoots lined up, once it begins to snow.
